Westlaw and CALI
Students have access to a wealth of legal information from Westlaw, a private, online legal research service, and Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI), which provides exercises and supplemental lessons on various law school courses. UWLA has contracted with both of these organizations for the use of their online databases exclusively for the educational needs of UWLA students, faculty and staff.
Each law student is given a password to use Westlaw and CALI from home or at school. These student passwords are valid for as long as the student is enrolled. Plans are underway to provide access to other online research providers such as Lexis, Loislaw and others.
