Before becoming an attorney, Marilyn Alper was an administrator for the L.A. Health Department.  She has also served as a prosecutor at the State Bar of California, along with being in civil litigation practice.  She is currently a Senior Judicial Research Attorney at the California Court of Appeal, Second District and has served as a professor here at UWLA since 1982.
