Dr. Edward C. Stark practices in the following areas of law: Medical Malpractice; Personal Injury; Business Law; Civil Practice; Trial Practice; Administrative Law. 

Dr. Stark, Ph.D., J.D. started working as an attorney with the firm of Chapman and Rosen. Thereafter, he was a partner in Smith and Stark for seventeen years and currently is a partner in the Santa Monica firm of Cron, Israels & Stark. His practice has stressed civil litigation, primarily in the fields of business litigation and major tort litigation.

Dr. Stark has been a Commissioner for the California State Advisory Commission on Franchises as well as for the California State Senate Advisory Commission on Malpractice Insurance. He was also a member of the California Committee of Bar Examiners where he served as Chair of the Examinations Subcommittee for two of the four years and was Vice Chair of the Committee during his last year serving. 

Dr. Stark, who holds a doctorate in Organic Chemistry, was a former chemist and Chemistry Professor and has authored a college level chemistry textbook, Essential Chemistry, which was used extensively by Universities in the United States and the United Kingdom. He was a Professor of law, teaching torts, at Glendale University, School of Law and Pacific Coast University School of Law (1990-1999) before coming to UWLA.  Mr. Stark teaches Torts at UWLA and also serves the University as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
