Graduation and Beyond

The Ceremony

UWLA’s graduation ceremony occurs each June at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre.  This is a time for students and their friends and family to celebrate their enormous accomplishment.   Often, a student’s celebration is made even more exciting by the fact that they have also passed the Bar Exam. 

Relationships Continue

The culmination of years of work, study, and perseverance, the receipt of a Juris Doctor degree and the passing of the Bar Exam are also a time of introspection as students consider life after law school.  UWLA’s faculty and staff are extremely proud of its graduates, and often continue mentor relationships with students long after graduation.

Students can also look forward to graduating with a network of friends and associates—relationships that will give one another support and opportunity over the life of their careers.

A Tradition of Excellence

For decades, UWLA’s alumni have been among some of the most accomplished and respected law professionals in California.  The cap and gown have given way to the dignity of robe and gavel, and the ideals of freedom and justice for every citizen are that much closer to being realized because our alumni represent diverse racial and socio-economic backgrounds—the democratization of law.
