Request for Information: Special Needs Legal Clinic
The objective of the Legal Clinic is to provide a wide range of support to families and children with physical and/or mental disabilities or other special circumstances. Students enrolled in the Legal Clinic course will provide assistance to families as it relates to the Individual Educational Plans (IEP's).
Students will provide support and counseling prior to, during and after the IEP process whereby the family will have the opportunity to meet with the student(s) at the UWLA Campus (LAX and/or SFV) for free help with the IEP process. Student will subsequently serve as "Advocates" with the family during their IEP
meeting.
