  Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity MISSION STATMENT The Bernard Jefferson Chapter of Delta Theta Phi at the University of West Los Angeles is a professional community that enriches our members between legal education and practice. As a proud part of a global fraternity with roots dating back to 1900 and over 138,000 members, our chapter is dedicated to the academic and professional success of our students. Currently, our chapter is increasing in membership, and we encourage law students to consider becoming a member of Delta Theta Phi and helping us and our student body realize success in their studies and future legal industry career. Delta Theta Phi is committed to supporting our members through every stage of their legal journey, from coursework and Bar preparation, including access to resources like Barbri outlines, career development and networking with practicing attorneys. Through strong relationships across Southern California, members gain valuable connections with other local Delta Theta Phi chapters and distinguished alumni in government, business, and the judiciary.
Members also have opportunities to apply for scholarships, contribute to the Adelphia Law Journal, attend professional seminars and national conventions, and participate in community service. We hope to empower UWLA students to become leaders in the legal profession while building a lifelong foundation of fellowship and integrity.

How Can I Join Delta Theta Phi? 1. Apply: Click on this link to complete the Delta Theta Phi ΔΘΦ Law Fraternity Application.
2. Pay the Membership Fee: Once you finish the application, please email deltathetaphi.uwla@gmail.com for instructions to pay the $100 one-time lifetime membership fee to the international fraternity & the $50 annual UWLA chapter dues. 3. Attend Your Initiation: Once all applications have been approved by the international fraternity, we will schedule a formal initiation, either in person or virtual for all new members.
