Prof. Mary Dolmadjian

Biography: Mary M. Dolmadjian is a Deputy Public Defender with the Los Angeles County where she provides criminal defense to indigent clients. Ms.Dolmadjian majored in American Literature and Culture/English and Minored in Armenian Literature Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Ms. Dolmadjian then moved on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles. During her time in law school, she interned as a certified law clerk for both the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office as well as the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Following her admission to the California State Bar, Ms. Dolmadjian worked for a civil litigation firm practicing primarily employment law before finding her way back to her true passion of criminal law. As faculty of UWLA, Ms. Dolmadjian teaches a variety of courses including Pre-Trial Litigation, Advanced Legal Writing (Criminal Emphasis), Legal Research and Writing, Criminal Law, and Criminal Procedure, among others.
