Professor Aldava has two decades of experience in higher education. A member of several organizations including the Legal Writing Institute (LWI), a nonprofit organization for academics that support the teaching of legal writing and improving collaboration of faculty. He is also a participant of CALI The Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction, a consortium that promotes technology in legal education. In the most recent years Professor Aldava has focused his work on accreditation matters. Specifically, relating to The WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) and IPEDs reporting. Additionally, he served as a member of the California Association for Institutional Research Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion task force.
