Shadi Jafari holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Literary Journalism and International Relations from the University of California, Irvine. She was a recipient of the Orfaela Fellowship from UC Santa Barbara and taught various courses in the subjects of International Relations, Political Science, and Communication. Her work has been published in numerous publications including the “Voice of OC” and “Kiosk Magazine.”

At the University of West Los Angeles, School of Business, Mrs. Jafari assists students with academic writing and conducts Writing Workshops for students with the aims of provide students with the necessary tools needed to write an academic paper that is unified and developed through support, explanation, description, or analysis as needed. She also teaches the Business Communications course offered for the Bachelor’s Completion program. Mrs. Jafari is a full-time staff member at the University of West Los Angeles and works in the Admissions and Enrollment Department of the University as the Enrollment and Recruitment Manager.
